I really, really love a great maxi dress. They are so comfortable and are appropriate for basically every occasion. I especially love this maxi dress because I could dress it up and feel comfortable going to a wedding or throw some sneakers on and run errands. Thank you Asos!

Recently I have been wearin my hair like this non-stop! It's easy, but looks like you just got your hair done. It's also great in this really hot and humid weather we've been having all summer. I won't complain though because I'd rather be hot than cold!!

I am having a lot of fun with the off the shoulder trend that has recently started blowing up. It is 100% true that fashion is cyclical, for the most part. Things may go out of style but are likely to come up in a few years. This is definitely one style that I am happy to have around. Its super cute, comfy and great for the summer.

I wasn't always really sure that this dress would look so good on me when I first purchased it but now I could not imagine my life without it. I can exaggerate my waist by adding a belt or I can keep it flowy. It is super comfortable and I think it looks good on a lot of different body types!

Who else loves an awesome sale? I'm sure we all do, because who doesn't like spending less money for something they really like. For instance this awesome red dress from J Crew Factory that I got for only $35. They had one of their awesome 40-50% off sales and I snatched up this awesome summer dress in the process. The material is thick enough that it keeps it's shape but not so much that I'm dying in the DC heat. 

What is Mario's favorite type of clothing? Denim, denim, denim! Yes, that joke is super corny, but no I am not sorry I told it. It definitely is perfect for the style I tried out recently. Everywhere I am seeing models, actresses, and other fashion icons in head to toe denim. I'm not always a fan of 100% denim, but some of the outfits were cute. The true test is will it be cute on me! I will let you all be the judge.

I really love using my button up dress to layer with during the gray area of Spring turning into Summer. Its light enough that I don't burn up from the extra layer and keeps me warm enough when the wind wants to pick up or when I'm under some shade. I definitely see more button up dresses in my future!

I feel a gingham button up is and should be a staple in everyone's closet. You can dress it up, dress it down and it is effortlessly cool looking no matter the occasion. At least that's how I feel about it. I even think it can bring a little pep to your work outfits! Yes, I tend to blur the lines here any there when it comes to business casual attire, but in any situation if I am given the chance to experiment and push the lines I most definitely will!

So I finally did it and gave in to the Harry Josh blow dryer. I've been saving up money here and there for it, but recently got a coupon that helped me a bit to make my savings enough. I got a chance to experiment with it this past weekend and I'm sure I'm not able to really use it to its fullest potential because I am not a hair dresser. I 100% probably am the most lazy person with my hair at times and so the thought of even owning this mini machine of magic is probably overkill, but bare with me.

This is the kit it came with then I ordered the blow dryer from DermStore. 

Since I got it at DermStore I got a few free extras with my order. The detangling brush, styling comb, and hair clips would usually come separate. The only things that usually come with the hair dryer is the narrow and wide nozzles and of course the hair dryer itself. 

Before I used it for the first time I watched a video of Harry Josh using the Pro Tool on a hair model. I copied the way he blasted air to the roots with the wide nozzle to achieve more volume, but let face it I don't really have a hard time in that department anyway, and then continued as normal with the rest of my hair using the narrow nozzle and ION setting. One stipulation I will put out there, I DID NOT use the cold button to set my hair. I'm sure in other hair styles it is a must do, but for what I was trying to accomplish I didn't really need it.

The end result was fantastic and lasted for about all day. My hair even stayed silky smooth for the next day and a half, which for me is unheard of! I really like that it was very quick and easy to use. I think I dried my hair and styled it in about fifteen minutes. I'm sure that is all due to the power of this machine. On its low setting it is still more powerful than any of my old hair dryers on their highest setting. The heat settings are either low or high and I usually only ever dry my hair on low so I'm not sure what the temperature is like on high, yet. 

I would say my go to hair style when getting a blow dry is bouncy straight! I like a smooth finish but I love volume and my ends to be curled in slightly. To get that look I used a large round brush with the Harry Josh Pro Tool and I couldn't have been happier with the result. Usually I have to blow dry my hair and then go through it with a straightening iron. For me that is a lot of heat in one session for my hair so to be able to cut that in half is awesome!

I 100% give this product two thumbs up and I'm sure if I had the capabilities of a professional stylist I would be able to do SO MUCH more with this tool.

My only caution would be to weigh the pros of this amazing tool with the price. I know myself and when I want something I have to have it, but it is a very expensive item. I used a coupon as a first time buyer that saved me $40 and if it is still available definitely urge you to take advantage of it as well.

Thank goodness the horrible cold weather has finally left and hopefully for good! I honestly have been in a bit of a fashion slump with this bad weather. All I really wanted to do was fly out to somewhere warm or stay in bed curled up on my blankets. Thankfully with the warmer weather I have been inspired again especially with Coachella going on. I probably haven't worn these jeans in years but with my new tunic top I thought it was time to take them out again.

So finally part 2 has arrived! Sorry friends for the long delay, but wedding planning is just super time consuming, but I promise I will do better!! One of the other awesome things about Nashville was the enormous amount of art that you could find anywhere you went. I mean they were even all over the buildings so its not like you could miss it. I definitely snatched up a few goodies from the many cute artist shops we passed by.

Recently took a needed vacation and went to amazing Nashville. Let me just say off the bat that the food is probably the only reason anyone should ever need to go to Nashville. I mean food should be on the top 3 for any vacation but I was completely blown away by how good everything was. I already know I want to go back just for the food. Of course there is SO much more to Nashville like the adorable boutiques, the large variety of bars that range from super chill to awesomely rowdy, and the amazing people. Seriously if you get the chance to go, you should!

Now that its getting warmer I can finally start to shed some of those Winter layers! I can see Spring on the horizon so I wore one of my favorite dresses as an ode to her. Of course I had to put a little twist on it with the leather jacket to keep up with my sassy side.

Sometimes mixing completely opposite styles, sweet/girly with urban/sassy makes for an awesome outfit! Honestly, I love being adventurous and trying to mix my different style of clothes. I just hope it continues to work out in my favor!

I hope you are all out enjoying Valentines day! My favorite way to spend Valentines is with my mini family, the dogs and my fiancé. I honestly never do anything big for Valentines and really love it that way. We got some coffee, went to church and have spent the entire rest of the day hanging out with the pups and will end it watching more All Star Basketball. Its gonna be awesome!
