Hello everyone, I'm back! Took a little vacation with family and now am super energized for Spring. Unfortunately its still pretty cold here in DC so I had to get a little creative with my outfits. I have been layering a lot of lighter pieces to still keep warm but not get overheated. If I want to wear longer sleeves I try to keep them to thinner fabrics or to loose knit sweaters that have a lot of breathing room.

I have to say I love StudioDIY! She is awesome and does that best DIY projects. Right now because of her I want to make a few graphic tees. They are really simple and easy, but I think they are so cool looking! The simpler the better for me, because I don't feel scared to pair it with other things in my closet or don't get overwhelmed by the project. Some of the quotes I want to use are "Save the Shire", "Talk Nerdy to Me", and "I Can't Adult Today, Please Don't Make Me Adult".

So there are 2 steps...that's it!

1. Choose your saying and peel those letters off the sheet very carefully. Then line them up and space them out the way you want the quote to look.

I remember when my favorite color was baby blue. To be honest to myself I have good taste in colors, because this baby blue sweater looks great on! It also makes me feel like Spring really is on its way here. Come on 65 degree weather!

Usually I don't like sweaters that hit right at my hips but I don't really mind it this time. I think I want to see how it'll look with high waisted bottoms.

Spring has finally shown its face! I hope it is here to stay because being able to walk around in a dress without any tights or leggings was awesome. I can't wait till the mornings are just as nice and I don't have to bring a jacket with me. 

We finally had a day with Spring-ish temperatures. Depending if you were in the shade or the sun you were either taking off or putting back on your jacket. It was just a big relief to wear something other than a million layers of clothes and a huge coat!

I can't stress enough how much I liked this combination. I feel like I'm getting ready to go out riding! Plus the new hair style I tried made me feel more in character with my horseback riding alter ego. We shall call her Katniss.

Still wishing for warmer weather I have, of course, been looking at dresses and skirts and all kinds of clothes to get for Spring. So far these are the piece I have been wanting the most!
