In the Fall/Winter months its really hard for me to want to wear cute dresses and the like to work because lets be honest I hate the cold and just want to hibernate all season long. So when given those less cold days or even a freak accident warm day I take full advantage. Right now my only problem is that I am going through a purging phase with my dresses that are work appropriate. I got pretty lucky at H&M recently where they had a good sale on exactly what I needed, work dresses that I would also like to wear outside of work.

The weekend was touch and go depending on the wind factor. There were times if you were in the shade that it felt like winter time and then you hop into the sunlight and bam its spring time! While it was really sunny I got away with a light jacket and my new faux leather top. When I tell you faux leather or real leather you are going to get really warm, really quick, but you will look fabulous.

Leather accents seem to be my go to this season and I'm not sure why but I'm not mad! What's your go to this Fall?

So I basically have spent most of this month drooling over pieces I want in the fall and in general. I would like the blame the amazing advertising going on by all my favorite stores! If only it were that simple right? I bought a few pieces already, returned some and are watching the rest to see if it will go on sale so it will finally be in the budget!

What's on your Fall Wishlist?

Now that Fall is in full swing here in DC I can layer some of my favorite clothes, plus new ones!! I think its a lot of fun figuring out new ways to use different clothes and accessories especially when I even combine feminine and masculine clothing. Its always fun when I wear something really feminine like a cute dress then pair it with converse or a cool leather jacket. That is exactly what I did yesterday among the other pieces!

I am the biggest kid you probably might ever meet and I don't care. Thank goodness my friends are the same way because I wouldn't have had anyone to go watch Box Trolls with me this week. It was so awesome and the work put into making a movie like it is phenomenal!! If you haven't seen it yet you need to get out there and check it out.

I love when movies are even better than you were hoping for. What movies have you gone to see lately?

This weekend was pretty gloomy, rainy and just plain bleh! I wanted to be out of the house but once I got out all I wanted to do was be back in the house. My friend says I have weather depression, which I don't fully understand but I do know I do not like rainy or gloomy days. The only thing that kept me outside is the fact that we had to find a mattress for our guest bedroom. So what do I wear on those days to give myself a pick me up, anything that is both comfortable and stylish! Also since it was a bit chilly out I wore my favorite blazer that has wool in it so I can stay warm.

I think my favorite part of fashion and access prizing is when you can make one piece work in multiple ways. This purse is the epitome of just that and I had to share the amazingness! You have three options of arm straps and with all three options you can either wear the purse zipped up on the bottom or unzipped to give you more room. I'm sure we all know I keep it unzipped because I need all the space I can get in a purse. Also did I mention I'm in love with the color and how it switches from season to season perfectly!! Ahhh I love this purse.

What is your favorite piece that just works for everything?

Since we have been exploring Silver Spring we have found so much cool street art, graffiti and murals all around. There are just so much things to find in our area which is a huge relief for me. I know I shouldn't be skeptical of a place till I am there and give it a chance but I was just so stuck in my ways. I am glad to say that now I am getting over that stubbornness and will be exploring more often.

So the weather here is being super wonky as usual! One second it will be really hot and then it will be really cool. So I got to pretend like it was still summer time and we took the dogs out to the nears dog park. They seemed to have a good time but were very skeptical since they haven't really been in a very wooded area and this park was surround with hiking paths and miles of trees. The lake was my favorite part of the entire place.
