So I at the recent baseball game I actually got to take a picture with my favorite president EVER!! I love me some Teddy Roosevelt. Ok so he is just a mascot/character at the baseball games and not the real president but its close enough for me. Plus I only ever see the George Washington or Abraham Lincoln roaming around the stadium so when I saw Teddy I went crazy and ran up before he could leave so that I could get my picture. I'm sure you will be able to tell just how happy I was.

Ball games with a group of friends can be one of the best past times on the weekend ever, even if you aren't paying attention to the game.

Who else had the busiest weekend of all time!!??? It was moving day on Saturday and goodness I have never been so exhausted in my life. I literally passed out that night, but it is all worth the work because we are almost all unpacked. We just need to clean up the old place and then start our new lives in the new apartment!! In between the moving and unpacking we got away for a little bit to walk around and relax while we shopped around to fix up the new place.

YAY! Go casual date nights!! I love just spontaneously deciding to go out for dinner or to the movies or any activity that just pops into our brains. Especially if I don't have to think to hard about dressing up in a fancy shmancy outfit with makeup and heels. Sometimes that's fun don't get me wrong but most the time I am just too lazy for that! I just want to get out and start having fun asap. Plus these types of dates are more my speed since I'm super silly and all over the place and feel like I can just be who I am.

Mondays aren't really the happiest days of the week which is why I usually make a little bit of an attempt to wear an outfit that will help me get through the day. This time I went for comfortable and stylish. These pants are seriously so comfortable!! I love them. How can you be mad when it feels like you are wearing pajamas all day!?

It has been oddly chilly in the mornings here in DC, not that I am complaining...too much, and then obviously going right back to its awful humid and hot temperatures. I've been enjoying the fact that I can bust out some of my blazers for the morning commute to work. It feels like California again where you wear your jackets in the morning and then carry them home in the afternoon. Oh how I miss it!! 

Another weekend full of packing and organized and trying to sell items that we have double of! I know I am slacking on my blogging here but I promise its not because I am being lazy or forgetful, just super SUPER busy with this upcoming move. I promise I will try and do better!! Anyways, its seems that the packing craze also got the best of my boyfriend and he whisked me away with him to closest shoe store so he could get shoe cleaner. It may have not been the most exciting getaway but we were both dying to get away from all the craziness in our apartment. I even forced myself to dress up even if it was only for an hour.

Over the weekend in between all the packing I had "I NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS APARTMENT!" moments. It got pretty bad at one point and I forced my entire little family out to Barracks Row to walk around and pick up doggy supplies. In that area there are so many awesome graffiti pieces and one in particular has this cute and yet lonely looking bench. I absolutely love seeing it when we walk around there and my favorite is when I see a cute elderly couple sitting on the bench.
