Hello Everyone!! Sorry for being away last week there is just a lot of things going on in our world. Anyways, this past Sunday I was finally able to get away and grab brunch with a good friend at Farmers, Fishers and Bakers. It was so delicious, expensive, but delicious! Since I haven't been able to dress up or really do much of anything I went all out and dressed up!

Recently its been harder and harder to convince myself that I absolutely need to get back into the gym. I know it'll help me and I do miss my yoga classes, but I am super unmotivated and to be honest, lazy. I just don't want to even though I know I should. One of my friends was talking to me about possibly revamping my workout gear and clothes. People who feel cute in their workout clothes tend to be more motivated to go to the gym and show off their clothes while also getting them to the gym in the first place. I keep thinking about it and what she said but sometimes I just can't believe that a new workout wardrobe is going to get me back into my old routine at the gym. Although I am the type of person who loves to show off the cute things I have so I came up with a workout wishlist and surprisingly already felt a bit giddy to wear these options at the gym. What do you think? Will nicer workout clothes motivate me to go to the gym? Will it help you go to the gym?

1. First off I definitely would need a supportive sports bra that comes in a whole bunch of colors. This one from Target is perfect. I already have one similar to this one from target from a ways back and I love it.

3. I love full length leggings. I hate capri length because for some reason they always roll up my calf. These are from Nike as well, but I'm sure I could find these at a TJ Maxx or Marshalls or online somewhere for cheaper. I would rather the Nike brand, but can I always afford Nike??

Sunday was just one of those days where I wanted to wear light airy clothes because lets face it summer here in DC is humid! HUMID! It makes me miss the days over on the west coast where there was still a nice crisp breeze to cut that 100 degree weather and there was slim to no humidity in sight. I didn't have to worry about my hair being crazy and frizzy or eventually knowing that I am going to throw my hair up because it is just too humid outside. Plus my dress matches my tattoo! FEATHERS =]

So today I am going to take everything down a different topic than I usually talk about, household furniture/storage/devices. My sweeties and I are moving into a larger apartment soon and there are things we are looking to get rid of like my super large modern wardrobe and victorian couch and old/broken vacuum. Of course trying to downsize the things we don't need, as most people who move often are familiar with when you realize where all the crap came from. Its crazy to see just how much stuff you accumulate in a year or so. You don't think its so much until you have to move and then BAM you've got a million boxes filled to max! So of course I have been looking at replacing things and adding other new things because OF COURSE!! DUH! =]

This couch from West Elm is EXACTLY what I want. This mid-century modern style is perfect for our modern vintage eclectic design. I totally made that up!

OH MY GOODNESS! I have wanted a Dyson vacuum for like ever and then of course I want the cordless version. It is super light weight and cleans like a crazy dirt eating monster. My parents have one so I am not just going off of what the websites and other commenters. Personal experience with a product = 100 times better than any other critics advice.

I have storage under my desk similar to this type of storage but it is old, plastic and broken at this point after owning for at least 10 years now maybe even longer! Yikes. This filing cabinet from CB2 is modern and the white version (they have other colors) matches the tv stand/credenza that we bought at IKEA. I especially love that it has wheels so I can move it anywhere I want.

I found this awesome idea on A Beautiful Mess from a picture I saw on Google a while back. I would LOVE to be this crafty, but I would probably cut a finger off. Though that is why I have a crafty family for and hopefully my Daddy loves me enough to make this for me. I would also probably paint it white or keep it the natural wood color. 

Do you guys have any upgrades or new toys for the house that you want???

I hope everyone's Fourth of July was amazing. My parents came up to DC to visit and walk around like tourists! We went every we could in the small amount of time possible which is why I made sure to be dressed comfortable and still July 4th festive. It was really nice out since it wasn't as hot and there was a nice breeze all day long which really helped when you were directly under the sun. I had a blast and I wish it was the weekend again just because I miss it so much already.
