I love the fact that I can throw on my tulle skirt and instantly feel like a princess! Which was 100% fitting for the church Christmas Pageant I was apart of in Williamsburg. Why not go all out for those big occasions right!? Well maybe I was the only one thinking that way but I sure didn't care!! I love Christmas and I probably over do it, but I believe in doing whatever makes you happy and that's what I did.

Immediately after these pictures were taken I feel seriously ill which is why they are now just getting posted. Sometimes you just need to take a little break to take care of yourself.

This is my first ever sweater dress, and the first ever to look cute and not horrid! Also in my head this is just 100% perfect for the colder months because its just like a huge sweater to keep my whole body warm. It also doesn't hurt that its pretty easy to layer with!

It is officially become that time of year where I have to wear some type of beanie, hat or super large scarf that goes over my head! It was way too cold for a girl like me and so the entirety of the top of my head especially my ears must be covered at all times. Who else has this problem!? I can't be alone. Sometimes it can be awesome because I don't really have to try hard with my hair other times it sucks because when I want to show off my hair I have hat hair! Its a love hate relationship.

During the holiday times I can get a tad bit overly festive which I don't think is really a bad thing, but I do admit that maybe it can be a little much. So sometimes I like to just wear one or two holiday colors, in this instance red, to keep my holiday cheer going. Not that I always need help feeling the Christmas spirit!!

Sometimes when I try mixing colors and putting two different colors together that I haven't experimented with before it goes one of two ways; cute or awful. Its never really in between where I can see if I can get away with it. Its always a love or hate relationship. This time I think I got away with it and the combination turning out pretty cute!

I cannot express how this scarf has kept me smiling and super happy through this crazy weather with its super cold days and then its medium ok days and then with its fake spring days. I just can't take any more drastic changes except its supposed to now snow on Wednesday! Seriously!? SNOW! I am going to hold tighter to my cozy huge scarf.

Its turtleneck season! To every person who is always cold this time of year is easy and as one of those people I can testify that turtlenecks have been super helpful. Its just the extra something during those extra chilly days that helps fight away the cold. 

How do I make myself feel like I tried super hard to glam up? I put on a bold lip on and keep it moving! Not that I don't feel beautiful without a colorful lipstick, but I guess because I don't do it too often that it seems to make a difference. My favorite go to color is definitely a nice red!

Every once in a while, as much of a homebody I am, I need to, NEED to get outside even if its just to get some overpriced coffee. It doesn't even matter if I have things I know I need to get done in the house. If my body and mind say GET OUT; I listen and sometimes I get dressed up to do it.

As the weather grows colder I find myself becoming more and more lazy...with everything! I still try and look presentable, but in the easiest way possible that doesn't take a whole lot of effort. I think everyone will agree with me that if we could just snap our fingers and look amazing life would be awesome! My go to during my lazier days is a hoodie with a cute jacket. Its cozy, comfortable and most importantly I still look put together. Sometimes I'll slap on a cute bright lipstick or flashy earrings and bam sporty chic to the rescue!

I feel like I looked like I tried when really this took two seconds to pull together! What is your lazy day go to look?

I have recently been playing with darker colored nails, which before I would have never even ventured into, but have quickly fallen in love. So far I only have two darker colors, which in certain light tend to look black even, but are a midnight blue and a dark forest green. I don't mind really that they can look darker in some light if for the most part they look the right color. There are a few more colors I want to try out and maybe even mix and match the colors for cool  yet easy designs.

In the Fall/Winter months its really hard for me to want to wear cute dresses and the like to work because lets be honest I hate the cold and just want to hibernate all season long. So when given those less cold days or even a freak accident warm day I take full advantage. Right now my only problem is that I am going through a purging phase with my dresses that are work appropriate. I got pretty lucky at H&M recently where they had a good sale on exactly what I needed, work dresses that I would also like to wear outside of work.

The weekend was touch and go depending on the wind factor. There were times if you were in the shade that it felt like winter time and then you hop into the sunlight and bam its spring time! While it was really sunny I got away with a light jacket and my new faux leather top. When I tell you faux leather or real leather you are going to get really warm, really quick, but you will look fabulous.

Leather accents seem to be my go to this season and I'm not sure why but I'm not mad! What's your go to this Fall?
